I meanderd into Walmart in massachusetts to have a fresh battery installed in a DW-290 I wear as a beater.this is my local Walmart and you can plainly see all the batteries and tools on the counter for batt switchouts.the poor lady behind the jewelery counter assured me the lady in charge of jewlery would be back from her break in 5 min tops so what the hay I can wait.after 20 min of waiting another customer went to fetch some help,good luck.eventually a Dept Manager from Garden supply arrives and informs me that Walmart does not change batteries on Digital watches cause they have them thingy's on the caseback,thingy's I say.yes sir she replies,them little screws back there.so even though say maybe 80% of what you sell are digital watches you company policy is no batt changes cause of them there do hickies I say.now I know she is full of baloney but thats how bad things are at this company.they have the poor jewelry person in charge of the shoe dept and the bra and hoisery section,jeesh.the Garden Dept manager went back to her area I am sure to kill some more plants and give the a-okay with her green thumb raised high in the air ala fonzie.One Northern California parking lot I can recall had a rear parking lot that was so scary it resembled the set of “Mad Max.” I drove on by.
